EGOMMERCE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

Compared to new tyres, retreaded tyres can be considered a viable alternative in terms of sustainability, not only economically but also environmentally, as they offer significant savings in terms of energy consumption, raw materials used, and emissions.

Consider that producing a new tyre consumes between 20 and 28 litres of oil, compared to just 5.5 litres for a retreaded tyre. Through retreading, approximately 80 percent of materials are preserved, 70 percent of energy is saved, and there is a reduction in CO2 emissions ranging from 24 percent to 37 percent.

Specifically, in production, for every retreaded tyre from Egommerce, we save an average of 26.4 kg of CO2 compared to a standard tyre.
